A walk-around real ale tasting featuring the best cask conditioned ales from Chicagoland breweries and specially selected guest, plus fine meats, cheeses and assorted appetizers. Casks are handled by CBS’s experienced cellarmen, trained in the UK to care for and serve real ale. A properly served real ale is neither cloudy, flat, nor warm: rather it is bright, with a gentle carbonation and served at cellar temperature.
Attendees will select the 2013 Champion Real Ale of Chicagoland!

The event is now completely sold out. Subscribe to the CBS-HB listserv (read FAQ for subscription and posting instructions) to post your interest and see if tickets become available.
Will you posting instructions for non-members to order tickets?
Yes, non members will be notified after all members have a chance to purchase.
Can members still order tickets today? If so, I haven’t been sent any information.
Ticket ordering info will be sent out 1/22 to members.
Even with my CBS code it will not allow me to purchase tickets. The date for both the presale and general public both say 1/31/13.
If I become a member now can I can pre release tickets for the event?
That problem is now fixed on BPT, should be able to purchase tickets now for Members.
Yes, be sure to purchase your membership via Paypal first.
That “Timestamp” from Paypal will be used to determine if you have membership.
Membership by mail will most likely not be fast enough.
Any member tickets sold to non members will be cancelled.
Will designated drivers need to buy a ticket too, even though they won’t get to drink any beer?
Yes they will have to buy tickets, there is food available for them too.

I have two e-tickets for the evening session (6-10PM) that I need to exchange for the afternoon (1-5PM) Session – what’s the best forum for me to do so?
