Hello all, David from Michigan here. I would like to once again compliment you all for this wonderful event! I would also like to thank all the volunteers. They did a great job. Amazing I picked the winners on my score sheet as the masses! I was wondering if anyone else tried a 'black/tan' with Tea-Bagged Furious and Shakespeare Stout? Wow what a great combination! I was wondering if anyone knew what type of hops were used in #26 Ore-Gone IPA? Again I would like to thank everyone involved in providing such a wonderful event! I wish we could have something like it in Michigan!

Thanks for your comments, and thanks for coming! We'll continue to look for ways to reduce crowding, even if it means selling even fewer tickets again.

Per another venue, we're constantly searching for workable options. A facility like the Plumbers Hall would be great, but we'd have to book it for many more days (cask beer requires more time to settle, condition, and drop bright) and that's more difficult and costly, especially at a popular facility or hotel conference room. We'd also need artificial cooling, which we'd have to rent or buy. At GI-W, we can maintain a perfect cellar temperature in the garage.

We generally hold our major events at city venues due to easier access to public transportation, but also because past suburban events haven't drawn as well.

Great event but sadly the room is still too crowded .Though friendly beer drinkers alike,it still is just to hard to get through so many people to aquire a 2oz.pour(especially when no one moves)...I know it`s got to be hard to aquire a bigger venue but you did it for the FOBAB..
It would be great if you were able to come to the suburbs for such an event.Tinley pk.Holiday inn convention hall????
Just a shared opinion...Cheers&Thanks for such events...
